Graphene – The Material for the Future

Graphene is a super-material that is harder than diamonds, 300 times stronger than steel, and a better conductor of electricity than copper.
These unique properties have the potential to disrupt and transform multiple industries, and demand is growing.

Global market potential for our Graphene Modifier based on 4.1 billion MT of Portland global cement production - US $ 60-100 billion

• Chinese potential market – US $ 36-60 billion
• Nigerian potential market – US $ 1-1.5 billion
• German potential market – € 500 – 800 million

• European potential market - € 2.5 - € 4.25 billion

On top of this you can count on carbon credits as a part of the profit

Graphene Modifier to be used in the road construction

Consumption:

0.75 – 2.25 kg per 1 m3 of construction soil, which is good for 4-5 m2 of new road.

Effects:

• Up to 3-4 times faster road construction period.
• Minimum 2 times cheaper construction costs.
• No negative environmental impact compared with classical ways of road construction costs.

Much more reliable (long live) roads. Much less further maintenance costs.

Attimar SA is the world leader in the production of the most durable material in existence - graphene. One of the areas of our activity is the development of affordable technologies for “ combining” graphene with natural minerals. We managed to “ connect” an aluminosilicate mineral with the graphene crystal lattice at the molecular level. We modified it with graphene, and subsequently synthesised a natural mineral - pozzolana. And since pozzolana is an active mineral additive and is widely used in the production of cements, our next step was the development of modifiers for the production of concrete and for road construction.

Our road graphene modifier Road Graphene Modifier SV2 (hereinafter referred to as RGM SV2) is a unique product of its kind: it is a real complex binder. As an activator, it accelerates the hydration processes of Portland cement simultaneously creates conditions for polymer reactions and involves graphene in the synthesis of aluminosilicate compounds. The practical experience of using our modifier RGM SV2 with various cements and other soil stabilisation products has shown the correctness of our approach to creating the product. Regardless of the characteristics of the soil and stabilising components, one RGM SV2 modifier and its correct dosage are sufficient.

Significant advantages of RGM SV2 technology in every single aspect change the game forever

Horizontal stresses in road pavement appear when vehicles brake, when driving speed changes, on steep slopes and turns. These stresses reach their greatest values at the contact boundary between the coating and the base, which can lead to deformation of the coating or its displacement due to high positive temperatures. Destruction of the coating from horizontal forces can be avoided by using bitumen- mineral compositions for the underlying layer, characterised by such values of the angle of internal friction and adhesion that provide shear resistance to the entire coating layer, including under the condition of unexpected braking of the vehicle. The basic criterion for the suitability of road pavements on foundations made of reinforced soils is precisely the shear resistance in the plane of the interface between the base and the coating.

During the construction of the road base, any soil, RGM SV2 modifier and cement are mixed on site, thus creating a powerful waterproof monolithic slab. Any, even the most difficult soil (chernozem, peat, heavy clay, etc.), becomes the main building material. At the same time, the costs for: excavation work and building materials (sand, crushed stone) are significantly reduced. The consumption rate of traditionally expensive materials (asphalt, bitumen) is reduced. Construction time is reduced. The productivity of a mechanized detachment is up to 1 km of road per day. The process of building a highway with our RGM SV2 modifier is almost completely mechanized, which reduces labor costs and costs. Reducing CO2 emissions by 5-6 times during construction, since less cement is needed to achieve the required result of RGM SV2.
